£70,000 - £80,000 - Luxury Wholesale/Retail - Financial Controller

Your new company
An international SME company is looking for a fully capable Financial Controller to govern the robust financial core of the business. They are currently looking to expand their European presence, whilst growing a profitable and healthy customer service and UK brand. With key distributers based in Australia and New Zealand, and exports set to grow in Europe, an impressive senior management team has already been cultivated to invest in the future journey. This new Financial Controller's voice will need to attune with and enrich the key business strategy, whilst the company continues to produce both high-end products and service their reputable client base.

Your new role
Owing to the multifaceted nature of the business, there is an exciting array of transactional accounts. Hence this role represents financial depth and commercial opportunity. Responsible for the overall financial affairs of the company, this role will be fully holistic and diverse, with scope to gain oversight and appreciation of the global presence of the financial transactions and trade exports. You will be based with close proximity to a luxury shop floor, with several impressive sales personnel and will develop a close relationship with the CEO.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant with senior level experience and a strong technical accounting profile. Experience with working with a conglomeration of products and services will be a key transferable attribute, while an appreciation of dealing with a high-end consumer base will also be beneficial. You will need to be a confident communicator with a keen eye for detail and a passion and hunger to invest in developing sincere and flourishing financial processes.
