Description

The key responsibilities for this massively exciting, career-defining Head of Financial Planning & Analysis role will be as follows:

• Supporting the CEO and the Executive team on all strategic decisions
• Leading the weekly trading meeting with the executive team - including looking over operational trend and variance reviews and gap analysis to budget
• Monthly group-wide trend analysis to highlight trends to senior management
• Commercial analysis of all new and existing introducer and supply commercial agreements for presentation and discussion to the Commercial Committee
• Reforecasting when a material business change happens
• Leading all financial modelling activities, managing 1 member of staff
• Ad-hoc analysis to support business growth, working with stakeholders such as the Sales Director, CEO, CFO & Head of Operations weekly, leading the weekly trading meetings
• Perfect for a commercially focused, excel proficient, an excellent communicator who wants to be purely add value focused - all month end / financial control sites with a different team

Profile

The perfect candidate for this Head of Financial Planning & Analysis role will be...

• Top 6 trained ACA qualified
• Subsequent experience in a service line such as transaction services, M&A, Corporate Finance, Forensics or Deals
• Ideally some experience of working in an analytical role in industry - desirable but not necessarily essential
• A fantastic communicator & true business partner
• A robust, confident individual, able to hold court in senior executive meetings
• A brilliant Excel modeler, able to manipulate & interpret large volumes of data, telling a story behind the numbers to present & challenge
• Ideally some knowledge of Power BI - desirable not essential
• Driven, hungry to improve processes & add value
• Looking to be a team player, spending time in the office roughly 3 times a week
• A fast learner with a passion for adding value, looking to lead the financial analysis division as the business gears up for an exciting growth period

Job Offer

This Head of Financial Planning Analysis role based just outside of Manchester can offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 + up to 20% bonus, private healthcare, and a vibrant office environment.
