About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client’s Treasury Team, helping to support treasury reporting.   Our client is an ambitious organisation, looking to build more homes and invest in their existing properties.  The treasury team is going to play a key role in supporting this, by regularly arranging borrowing from both banks and the debt capital markets while maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as investors and credit ratings agencies.  As part of the Treasury Team, you will play a key role in producing accurate and timely treasury reports for various audiences, both internal and external.

Duties will include analysing treasury information to include in corporate reports and you will be a main point of contact within the Treasury team for enquiries from investors.  You will play a key role in the development of Treasury’s approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting and be responsible for updating and improving the Investors Centre section of their website.  There will be opportunities for you to influence and take further ownership of the reports they produce.

They want someone who is:

  • A Qualified Accountant or equivalent with experience at management level
  • Experienced in finance or financial services in large and complex organisations with substantial capital budgets
  • Experienced in managing change or projects
  • Experience of interpreting information, carrying out research, analysing complex data, appraising performance and managing risk
  • Able to produce work to a high standard with strong attention to detail and excellent IT skills
  • Highly motivated with ambition to improve and develop
  • Experienced in managing an excellent, customer-driven service with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast paced and changing environment

The Company

Working with our client is more than just a job, you will be joining an amazing organisation that values you and your contribution, and where you can truly make a difference and change people’s lives.

You will join the largest social housing association in the Midlands. They're much more than just houses; they build homes, strong communities, and make a real and positive difference to the lives of their customers.

They recognise the unique and individual needs of people, so if you are interested in this role but would like to explore a different way of working to the standard Monday to Friday, 9-5 approach, then please highlight this on your application or discuss it with them at the interview stage.  After all, they want to attract the best people to work for them and they know that one size does not fit all.

This is a great place to work, they offer lots of opportunities for you to get involved, share ideas and shape what they do - from networking groups through to fun community and social events.  This is an exciting time to join them, that will provide you with real exposure to the wider dynamics of a truly modern housing association that will play a major part in delivering their 5-year corporate strategy.

Our client is committed to building a healthy, vibrant and inclusive organisation that treats people with respect and creates opportunities for all.
