We’re supporting on the recruitment of an ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified Accountant to join the team as a Senior Finance Analyst on a permanent basis, reporting into the Finance Director and supporting the growth strategy. Although this is an analytical role, it still has some traditional finance elements attached to it, such as reporting, audit work, process improvements and controls. Therefore, it will suit a varied Accountant that has an excellent grounding in finance with strong business partnering, analytical and modelling skills. We will also consider somebody making their first move out of Audit.
 
You will support the Finance Director with driving the strategy direction and raising the profile of finance within the business. This is an exciting and variable role which will include brand analysis, planning, controls, reporting and pricing, in order to equip the business with financial insights, monitor performance vs budget and play a key role in driving cost efficiencies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Building and managing reporting to support the business
  • Owning business planning and forecasting processes
  • Conducting business case analysis of new programs and services
  • Business partnering across functions to provide support, whilst also challenging assumptions
  • Provide and communicate reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support for the business to enable it to cope with market changes, for example business plans, customer incentive schemes as well as assessing the pricing structure of ongoing business
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with month end reporting and statutory audit/accounts processes
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ experience in finance and within a financial analysis/business partnering environment. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders. Ideally, you will also have experience of working within a Consumer Goods and fast-paced environment.
