Systems Accountant

RattrayParkin is supporting the recruitment requirements of a well established London based provider of specialist logistics services which is seeking to recruit a high calibre Systems Accountant to lead a major project aimed at automating business and operational processes.

In this position you will the development of the businesses financial and operational systems, ensuring integrity of data and system controls through efficient process design.

After initially scoping the business requirements you will take a lead role in the selection of the most relevant package prior to overseeing the successful implementation whilst supporting the implementation of change management projects to cover the provision, exchange and transfer of data from systems for analysis, decision making, updating and maintaining the chart of accounts etc.

To be considered for this position you will be a qualified Accountant with proven experience of working in Finance Systems management role.  You will also possess experience of organisational change management in a finance systems context and a demonstrable track record in pro-actively seeking out opportunities to drive automation or improvement of processes within Finance and across the business.
