Management Accountant job near Ellesmere Port for a growing business.


Hays Senior Finance are working closely with a growing group of companies near Ellesmere Port who are looking to appoint a suitably experienced Management Accountant to focus on one of their businesses. This dynamic group is growing rapidly and operate globally, they have a strong balance sheet and bold ambitions for the next five years. As part of their growth plan they need to ensure they continue to invest in the right talent across the business.

As Management Accountant you will have full responsibility for producing management accounts for one of the businesses in the group. You will be support by a transactional team and an Assistant Accountant. There is a Group Financial Controller above for additional support and training. The role will be broad and involve full exposure and ownership of the P&L and Balance Sheet. The whole finance team is about 10 people in total so you will have full visibility of all areas of finance and be expected to have a hands on involvement at year end and liaise with the auditors.

This is the perfect role for someone recently qualified or a finalist who wishes to have a stand alone role and develop into a Finance Manager over the next two years. If successful you will join a fast-paced, ethical and entrepreneurial business who invest in their staff and offer plenty of progression opportunities.
