Interim Accountant

My client is a Mid Kent based school looking to recruit an interim accountant to support the finance team on an initial 6 month basis.  Supervising a small transactional finance team, this role will manage the day to day deliverables within the finance team, ensuring that all income and expenditure is properly accounted for and reported on by the team.  Preparation of a full management accounting pack with all associated analysis and reporting and ensuring the schools statutory accounting responsibilities are met, will form the main part of the role. Management of budgets and forecasts for different areas of the school is required. Applications are sought from qualified or QBE accountants, who are immediately available.  Education sector experience would be an advantage, but not deemed essential. This role is offered at approximately 24 – 32 hours per week.
