A thriving business based near Manchester is currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join its growing team.
As Finance Manager, you will be providing compliant and effective and functional financial planning, analysis and reporting, aligned to the overall financial strategy and functional objective.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual, who is keen to join a business going through significant transformation.

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Owning all financial forecasting processes within the business to ensure accuracy and consistency, in aiding business decision making and performance tracking
• Developing and manage rolling forecasting processes
• Ensuring adherence to all governance, risk and compliance standards and expectations
• Managing the small Forecasting team
• Preparing, analysing, and implementing forecasting and reporting requirements
• Planning and prioritise effectively to meet changing priorities and demands
• Interpreting P&L, balance sheet and cash flow data and information
• Forecasting across multi-disciplined businesses

To apply for the role, you must:

• Be a qualified Accountant
• Have a proven track record in effective facilitation and communication at multiple levels
• Have strong business acumen and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and present data
• Have the ability to organise multiple responsibilities and deliver results in an accurate and timely manner while adapting to changes in priorities.
• Be detailed and process oriented
• Have the ability to manage conflict and knows when to escalate
• Have the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
• Be a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and delivery skills
