Management Accountant

Based in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit a driven and strong-minded individual who has previous experience in management accounts, balance sheet accounting and reconciliation experience, along with the drive and ambition to grow and develop within an ever-changing and progressive business.

Our client is a luxury brand with an extensive UK and overseas client base. They are looking to enhance the skill set in their team and therefore need a talented individual to join them as Management Accountant.

The successful individual will have good knowledge of Sage 50, Excel Word. They will have the ability to reconcile balance sheet control accounts monthly especially, bank accounts, sales ledger, purchase ledger, PAYE and VAT.

Job responsibilities:

Maintain Fixed Asset Registers - all categories.Maintain Fixed Asset Invoice file.Post, daily, all cash received into the bank accounts onto the various sales ledgerCompile monthly, Timesheet Hours spreadsheet for monthly Payroll submission.Once Payroll has been processed set up staff salary / wages payments on bank systemSet up on bank on-line system car payments, as required.Compile periodically ACNC sales invoices - data provided by Sales Department.Compile and submit annual P11D Returns.Maintain monthly Excel spreadsheets showing month end position for Accruals, Deposits, Other Debtors, Prepayments and Loans (non-Banking)Compile periodically Pension Fund Accounts.Undertake daily bank reconciliations on all bank accounts.Compile, process and submit electronically to HMRC, the quarterly Consolidated VAT Return.
