FP&A Senior Business Partner

Our client, a prestigious financial services firm is seeking to appoint a Senior FP&A Business Partner to lead the business engagement and provide insight to support commercial decision making. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the FP&A team within the Finance function of a leading financial services firm which is well positioned for future growth. The role is flexible and could be based anywhere in the UK, with some travel to London required.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A with responsibility for 2 direct reports, the role will be responsible for bringing analytical capability to drive profitability, challenge business performance and input into key commercial and strategic decision making. This includes being able to provide insight to develop and enhance the FP&A function, as well as supporting the business with financial analysis to enhance commercial activity. You will also collaborate across FP&A to provide analysis by product and services, whilst supporting with budgeting and planning.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong experience in financial planning and analysis, and business partnering. You should have excellent knowledge of a best-in-class FP&A function, as well as revenue and cost analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes. You must bring commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills as well as people management and leadership experience. You should also be a willing and collaborative team player, ambitious and driven, with a positive can-do attitude.
