This is an exciting commercial finance opportunity and is a highly visible role where the successful candidate will be given the autonomy to deliver commercial insight and partner with the wider business to drive performance.
The Senior Reporting Analyst will operate as part of a team of high quality, financial experts responsible for financial accounting & analysis at Group, regional or local business levels. The Senior Reporting Analyst will operate as part of a team of high quality, financial experts responsible for financial accounting & analysis at Group, regional or local business levels. Key Requirements:
Carrying out financial and data analysis and compiling reports for various business purposes including:
- Monitoring and management of financial results
- Balance sheet analysis and controls
- Supporting analysis for statutory returns and/or reports and accounts
- Production of financial reporting MI and accompanying commentary
- Development and maintenance of strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Communicating and liaising with business and finance colleagues to investigate results, develop opportunities, maintain alignment and share information.
- Gathering, validating and compiling quantitative and qualitative information and data, from multiple internal and/or external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Analysing financial and business data and information using a variety of proven statistical and other analytical techniques to determine causality, significance, business impact or implications and developing advice or recommendations
- Contributing to a wide variety of projects and initiatives potentially including internal reviews, development initiatives and corporate transactions
- Running and/or contributing to the development of financial models and analytical processes to meet business needs. Continuous monitoring of the external marketplace to feed into team processes and outputs
