Senior Commercial Finance Lead - £70,000-75,000 per annum + car allowance + 10% bonus

On Line People have been engaged by a one of the largest Facilities Management businesses in the UK to recruit a newly created, and highly exciting, Commercial Finance role.

There is an incredible amount of breadth on offer but role content is mainly focussed on developing business insight in order to drive new, value-based customer solutions. There is also significant opportunity to lead on industry benchmarking activities to enable robust and consistent strategic decision making. The vast majority of time spent in this role will be concerned with Business Partnering and then feeding key financial information back into a benchmarking tool, that the Senior Commercial Finance Lead will also be responsible for developing

Initially the successful candidate will form part of a small team but there is scope for this to grow with the Senior Commercial Finance Lead ultimately becoming the Head of the Department – a whole other range of progression opportunities potentially await as well.

Candidates most suited to this role with be naturally curious and resourceful with an innate ability to be creative with large data sets. They will have a strong analytical mindset, with some direct experience in this field, but will have also developed a truly commercial approach to finance. It is also vital that candidates are able to display high levels of credibility when dealing with customers inside, and outside, of finance.

It is expected that candidates will be Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with minimal 5-7 years post qualification experience. They will also have knowledge of change and project management, advanced Excel skills, the capacity to execute accurately as well as being able to show empathy whilst remaining assertive.

The business has truly embraced remote working throughout the pandemic and have no plans to return to an office-based model moving forward. Therefore, the successful candidate could be based anywhere in the UK providing they are prepared to travel to London and other regional hubs to meet with key stakeholders.
