Senior Management Accountant

A genuine step up into a Senior role. To provide support to the Financial Controller working closely with the Finance Business Partners in ensuring the management accounting, reporting and internal control activities of the UK operations are carried out.

You will also be responsible for the line management, support and development of a part qualified management accountant -no previous management experience is required!

Description

• To ensure the day to day accounting for the operations of the company, results in the accurate and timely recording of entries into the general ledger.
• To be responsible for the month-end entries, accounting and P&L.
• To be able to communicate and present clear working papers to enable a strong working relationship with the finance business partners to ensure completeness and accuracy of P&L reporting.
• To be responsible for balance sheet reporting at each month end, ensuring preparation, completeness of reconciliations.
• To support the Financial Controller to ensure that the requirements of the UK Group are met by the wider finance team. This includes supporting budgeting and cash flow processes.
• Managing the preparation of relevant detailed year end audit work papers and liaise with the external auditors as may be required.

Profile

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in end to end management account production.
• Experience in working in a finance team across both P&L and balance sheet.
• Enthusiastic and flexible team player with high expectations of self and others.
