Finance Manager

Our client a growing global business, has a highly sought after job opportunity for a qualified accountant to join them as Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Located in Glasgow city centre, the office is easily accessible and offers a hybrid working model.

Your new role
Your role will be varied and your responsibilities will include:

*Management of a team of staff ensuring deadlines are met
*Reviewing and preparing Statutory accounts for multiple entities
*Coordination of the group audit acting as key contact for auditors
*Preparation and ongoing review of budget
*Preparation of board papers
*Supporting with key projects including acquisitions

What you'll need to succeed
This is a high profile team in which you will have exposure to multiple teams, regional FDs as well as the CFO for the UK.

Ideal Candidates will be fully qualified with experience of working for a large accountancy / audit firm or will have experience of working in a similar role within a commercial / financial services environment.

You will be comfortable working in a demanding, deadline driven environment and will demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills coupled with a positive and proactive approach.
