Head of Finance

Head of Finance, Buckinghamshire, c£80,000 - £90,000 plus benefits

Newly created Head of Finance role for a well-loved omni-channel retailer. You will take charge of day to day finance duties reporting directly into the CFO. With a strong brand, well positioned high street presence and a growing on-line offering the business is in a fantastic position

Responsibilities include

• Lead person for all UK based commercial finance/financial planning & analysis along with the leadership of the financial control team
• Finance systems and process design
• Statutory, financial reporting and compliance responsibility
• Support and partnering with the CEO and SLT
• Review and make recommendations on new strategic initiatives
• Work with commercial departments on analysing potential new revenue streams
• Responsible for pricing and all margin analysis
• Marketing business partner. Ongoing assessment of ROI
• Continuous improvement of analytical processes to provide better commercial insights

The person we are looking for

• Ideally ACA or CIMA Qualified Accountant
• Experience of working or
• Previous experience of delivering statutory accounting responsibilities for a SME
• A people person with strong relationship skills
• Business partner by nature
