Robert Walters have been engaged to recruit a Management Accountant for a well-established Sports Media business based in London. The business continues to go from strength to strength and due to an internal move they have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their high performing finance team.

Working as part of the Management Accounting team, key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and distributing key management information packs to heads of department

• Managing month end close process

• Delivering key business and management information in a timely basis to Senior Management

• Managing annual budget process

• Liaising with key budget holders and other stakeholders

• Providing ad hoc analysis to support budget process

• Modelling and preparing ad hoc analysis to support commercial decisions

• Supporting year-end audit when required and explaining supporting schedules and processes

• Supporting continuous process improvements ensuring best practice is maintained

• Ad hoc tasks and projects as required

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified accountant

• Possess strong management accounts experience

• Possess excellent communication skills and be able to influence all levels

• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment

• Able to manage multiple tasks

• Be proactive and results oriented

• Work under own initiative
