FP&A Manager job for a technology company based in Glasgow on a 12 month fixed term contract


Your new company
A specialist technology business based in Glasgow, are looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant with extensive FP&A experience ideally in software of professional services who can bridge the gap between the Head of Finance and 5 management accountants within the team. The role is an initial 12 month fixed term contract which will be home based with travel to the Glasgow office required twice per month.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing the month-end process, working with, and coaching, finance business partners in production of month-end financial reporting for their respective individual business units. You will produce consolidated month-end results and forecast, including financial and non-financial KPI's, for review by Head of Finance. In addition you will support all discussions and initiatives around organic growth, including evaluation of existing and new markets, establishment of product and sales plans, refinements to business model, and measuring execution performance. This will include ongoing improvements to periodic MI, both in range of KPI's being reported, but also the processes around production of the reporting and associated reviews. You will perform financial due diligence for targets in a process and post transaction, ensuring financial and broader integration is progressed in an efficient and effective manner.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong Planning & Analysis experience in a complex business
  • Ideally CA Qualified having worked in the Big 4
  • 5- 10 years PQE in a Business Partnering setting
  • Capable of Board reporting, working with the CFO and developing the team
  • Capable of leading projects autonomously
  • Technology/software experience would be ideal
  • Max notice 4 weeks
