Financial Reporting Accountant | Manchester City Centre | £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus
An opportunity has arisen to join one of the fastest growing businesses in Manchester for a technically strong Financial Accountant. This business has grown considerably during the last 18-24 months and has exciting plans for the reminder of its current financial year.
With a good balance between reporting and statutory account production, an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant is required, working closely with the Group Financial Controller and CFO to complete the following duties;
- Production of internal reporting - P&Ls, variance analysis & reconciliations
- Produce consolidated group accounts
- Lead on statutory account production (group and subsidiary)
- Balance sheet interrogation
- Ensure current reporting processes are robust
- Provide support to produce monthly management accounts
- Work closely with the finance change team to provide insight and help influence tight processes
- Ensure best practice in line with policies and controls
- Lead on relationships with external auditors
Candidate profile;
- ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Prior experience in a regulated environment - ideal
- Strong technical experience in line with the above duties
- 2-4+ years PQE
