Our client is one of the leading insurance premium finance companies in the UK and Ireland. They are currently looking for an Accounts Administrator to join them in Leatherhead on a 12 month fixed term contract, with an immediate start date.
While their offices are based in Leatherhead, they are currently operating on a work from home basis.

The Role
As an Accounts Administration Assistant, you will assist the Accounting Operations Team in administering the receipts and payment function for the division.
You will reconcile bank accounts and system ledgers in collaboration with the Finance Department and respond to telephone and email queries in an efficient, timely manner.
Additionally, you will:
- Ensure all payments received are accurately allocated within 24 hours of receipt
- Ensure all refunds and funding payments accurately posted and uploaded
- Meet all processing and accuracy targets
- Mentor colleagues on tasks (once fully trained)
- Highlight issues and escalate appropriately
- Attend and complete any mandatory compliance training
About You
To join our client as an Accounts Administration Assistant, you will need:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent numeric and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- To be self-motivated team player with good interpersonal skills
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
A corporate and/or financial background would be desirable. Knowledge of accounting would be beneficial to your application, as would experience in data entry and double entry bookkeeping. Good MS Office skills would also be advantageous, particularly in Excel.
