Internal Auditor - Low travel!

Reporting directly to the UK Head of Audit and Governance, this role requires a capable, proactive individual to work in a versatile internal audit team.

Description

·Delivery of audits in line with the audit plan agreed on a quarterly basis. This includes scoping, delivery and reporting to senior management.

·Delivery of consultancy assignments, where required, to support the business including scoping, delivery and reporting to senior management.

·Follow-up, on a quarterly basis, of management actions including reporting to the UK Head of Audit and Governance.

·Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders including managing difficult messages.

·Building networks which help to inform the UK Head of Audit and Governance and identify wider risks in the business.

·Maintain and develop knowledge of internal audit through quality documentation and report writing. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of internal audit standards and able to exemplify these in their application of the UK Audit team processes.

Take a proactive role within the team; presenting in team meetings and suggesting key internal audit and industry topics for discussion.

Profile

· ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIIA Qualification or equivalent.

· Experience in similar roles; either external audit or assurance work.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Job Offer

Up to £50,000 plus benefits.
