£Competitive Salary
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant and can be based at their state of the art facility near Coventry or their Liverpool offices (within the Liverpool Science Park)
You will be responsible for supporting the full spectrum of accounts payable activities. This will involve posting high volume of purchase invoices, expense claims, direct debits and credit card transactions, investigating discrepancies and managing supplier statement reconciliations. Meticulous and thorough, you will ensure that invoice and claim details are accurate and assist in the preparation of reports as required.
With a proven background in a similar purchase ledger role, you will be experienced in raising and processing invoices and payments and will be able to demonstrate good numeracy and analytical skills. A competent Excel user, you will be an exceptional communicator with a professional telephone manner and the confidence to liaise effectively with other areas of the business and suppliers. This role would suit someone who can work collaboratively, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
Their benefits package includes a competitive base salary as well as 25 days annual leave + public holidays. In addition, there is an Employee Assistance Programme, ability to buy and sell holidays, cycle to work scheme, employee discounts and a fantastic pension scheme. If your role is in an area that is taking part in the fully flexible working week trial, your working week will be from Monday to Thursday and your annual leave entitlement will be adjusted to 20 days per annum.
