Resourcery Group are supporting a professional services company to bring on board a Financial Accountant to cover a 12 month maternity leave contract. This role has the flexibility to be office or home based with travel into the Manchester City Centre offices for 1-2 days per month.

The Financial Accountant's role:
- Supporting the Financial Controller with producing the monthly financial accounts pack
- Liaising with auditors to produce consolidated statutory accounts
- Maintenance of balance sheet and cashflow forecast model
- Production and control of balance sheet reconciliations
- WIP and revenue accounting for month and year end accounting
- Implementing procedures to optimise year end close efficiencies
- Production of VAT returns
- PAYE submissions
- Capex budgets and controls
- Processing of expenses
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA fully qualified accountant with strong financial accounting skills
- Be able to commit to the 12 month duration of the assignment
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Have the technical ability and be able to work with large volumes of data
- Solid Excel skills
