Tax Accountant

Tax accountant job in Norwich with a small accountancy practice. £30-40k depending on experience and level


I am delighted to be working with a Norwich based Accountancy Practice who are looking to appoint a Tax Accountant for their established and friendly team.

My client is highly respected in the market and specialises in providing a friendly, flexible and proactive all year-round service to small businesses and individuals in the local area.

Your main responsibilities will include;

• Maintaining a Personal Tax Portfolio and preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Preparation of Corporation Tax Computations for Limited Companies
• Being the main contact for assigned clients, including answering queries and providing advice
• Establishing and maintaining a professional and friendly working relationship with clients and colleagues.

Competencies:

• Practice experience essential
• Previous experience of personal tax returns and corporation tax
• Excellent written and verbal communication with Clients
• If you have experience of Book keeping, VAT returns and preparation of Sole trader/Partnership/Company accounts then this would be incorporated into the role however it is not a requirement to be considered for the role

Qualifications:

• Qualified ATT/AAT or by experience within a Practice environment
