Our client protects millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. Their members rely on them to look after their pensions if their employers collapse and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.
 
They are looking for a Cash Management Advisor to join their finance team and be responsible for the cash management of the operational bank accounts and managing the related relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
 
This position is responsible for the preparation of short-term cash flow forecasts, the maintenance of the cash management dashboard and preparation of insightful working capital management information. This role is a customer facing support position that will support the wider organisation with the processing of electronic payments, specifically their member payments teams and will also provide cover to the wider finance team.
 
Their ideal applicant will have demonstrable working capital experience gained within a medium to large sized entity. They are also looking for financial control and reporting environment experience and also banking system and bank reconciliation experience. Strong IT skills are required for this position, including Excel (pivot Tables and Lookups) and ERP System experience (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
