Accountable Recruitment are currently working with a growing accountancy practice based in Liverpool who are looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant/Semi-senior Accountant on a full time and permanent basis.

JOB TITLE: Assistant Accountant
JOB TYPE: Full time and Permanent
SALARY: Up to £25k (DOE) + flexible working - Training support where required
DUTIES:
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Monthly/quarterly bookkeeping for clients to include the maintenance of sales and purchase ledger invoice process, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, wages journals etc
- Utilising cloud systems to prepare multiple accounts
- Visiting client premises in the local area where required
- Processing VAT returns aligned with HMRC
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Prior experience working within a accountancy practice is essential - at least 2 years practice experience
- Ability to work to deadlines
- AAT qualified/ Part Qualified ACA/ACCA and qualified by experience will also be considered
- Strong team player
- Strong excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
