Management Accountant
Based in Northampton, our client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
This job would suit a part qualified accountant, and must be actively studying for their ACCA/CIMA qualification. You'll work closely with the Finance team as well as the rest of the business and play a key part in achieving the group's objectives.
The company are experts in their field with centres nationwide and have very exciting growth plans for the next two years. This role has been designed to grow with the business, the successful candidate will be highly motivated with the desire to become a qualified accountant. The plan for this role is to eventually become a finance manager within the business over the coming years. This is a great time to join the business with plenty of projects planned and work for an employer know for looking after their staff and putting employee development at the heart of the business.
The successful individual will be required to prepare the management accounts accurately and ensure they are submitted to the Financial Controller by the relevant deadlines. You will also need strong communication skills, necessary to engage, influence and challenge successfully at all levels.
Job responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accounts
- Purchase ledger duties
- Reconcile and post Credit Card Statements
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with annual audit and liaise with external auditors
- Preparation of P&L account for the month
