A successful and highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Exeter has a requirement for an experienced Business Services Accounts / Tax Manager to join their team as a key addition in a pivotal support role to the firms partners, taking on full portfolio management responsibility and delivery of wide ranging services with clear progression and development on offer within this firm and role.

Client Details

Based in Exeter this chartered firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wider ranging industry sector OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients with turnovers into the up into the £millions and up to of £10 - £20/30million in turnover on some larger clients. You will be working closely with one of the firms partners as a key support, delivering a wide spectrum of accounting, tax and advisory/planning services to your clients, building long term relationships. The firm is undergoing continued positive growth, with a very good reputation and with planning for the future growth and development of this firm, the role provides an excellent opportunity for those professionals looking to progress in their career. A mix of remote/home working to office involvement is on offer with flexible working arrangements.

Description

Joining as Business Services Accounts / Tax Manager based from the firms Exeter offices you will have chance to carve a career within this successful firm, working closely with one of the firms Partners. You will lead and manage the delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to clients across varied industries developing client relationships, taking on a portfolio reviewing accounts, disclosures, audit files (but only for those with audit experience, as it is not a necessity to bring audit experience as the client base can be entirely focused around accounts/tax dependent on the right persons background and areas of technical expertise and interest). You will need an all around skill set across accounts and tax and you will also work with partners on wider advisory, planning projects in addition delivering on wider project work which could encompass corporate finance and other project work . You will have opportunity to progress and carve an influential role within this firm.

Profile

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background developed within accountancy practice, with skills across any of: audit, accounts, tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size. You will have developed your career to the Managerial levels and be looking for a career move and role where you can see a genuine and clear path to develop and progress within your career.

Job Offer

Circa £35,000 - £48,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits.
