Marks Sattin are partnering with a growing property investment business who are looking for a Temporary Financial Accountant to join their Finance team. The role will be for an initial 8-week period, with the opportunity to extend.
As the Financial accountant you will be reporting into the Group Financial Controller, on a project involving consolidation of subsidiary accounts into the Holding companies accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure management accounts are a good representation of the GL balances
- Bring up-to-date management accounts if necessary
- Perform monthly consolidation of subsidiaries management accounts
- Dealing with audit queries
The ideal Financial Accountant would be newly qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). Ideally with experience working in accountancy practice, in particular with preparation and consolidation of statutory accounts. Understanding technical accounting rules and conventions would be highly preferable.
