Senior Management Accountant | £50,000 | Preston | 2 Years PQE Position | Brilliant business with an excellent finance team
Axon Moore has partnered with a growing business in Preston to help expand their team. One of the roles that has been created is a Senior Management Accountant position for a qualified accountant with at least 18 months post-qualified experience (PQE) in industry. This will be a no.1 or Head of Finance over a division but will be branded as a Senior Management Accountant.
Team: The newly created Senior Management Accountant position will work amongst a medium sized team under the guidance and close mentorship of two qualified and high calibre finance leaders. The team are very agile and dynamic allowing flexibility for this new person to gain a lot of exposure to different parts of the team. The person will learn and develop quickly whilst immersed in a strong and supportive team.
Progression: This team has a long standing relationship with Axon Moore and has always had succession planning at the heart of their recruitment strategy. The brief goes beyond core competencies as they are looking for someone with the character and drive worthy of promotion.
Role: The Senior Management Accountant position will have a broad mix of financial and management accounting responsibilities, but it will also look differently month-to-month depending on shifting priorities to support and influence key projects across the business. For example, there ongoing projects such as M&A, system implementation, group standardisation projects, finding synergies across the group.
