Tax Assistant Manager

This role is suitable for an 'all round' qualified accountant, with an interest in moving into a pure tax role, or someone who already is in a pure tax role, with relevant previous experience.

These growth plans have given the need to look for a Tax Assistant Manager, with the view to progress this role further in the future.

Description

The Tax Assistant Manager duties will be;

• The management of a portfolio of clients, potentially up to around 250 clients, across a range of HNWIs, company directors and other, wide ranging cases, acting as the main point of contact, developing relationships and delivering a quality compliance service across self assessment, P11d's etc .
• Preparation tax returns for individuals and review more junior staff work, providing guidance and support to their development.
• Whilst the role has a compliance focus, there will be increasing opportunity for involvement in planning and advisory project work and the opportunity for career development and progression is on offer for career focused, tax professionals with a clear route to Manager/Partner levels on offer
• Help out in other departments when necessary

Profile

The Ideal Tax Assistant Manager will be;

• An 'all round accountant' - experience in Accounts, Audit and Tax is preferable
• ACA/ATT/AAT/CTA/ACCA qualified, but Qualified by experience Candidates will be taken into consideration
• Clear communictor, verbal and written
• 4 Years experience in practice minimum
