One of the fastest growing firms of Chartered Accountants with a national presence are currently looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their Stockport office. This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and it is a great opportunity for an ACA / ACCA finalist or newly qualified accountant to join a dynamic team and gain exposure to an interesting client base.

Your new role
As an Audit Senior you will take a lead on a range of audit and accounting assignments with the support and guidance of a senior manager. Your portfolio will predominantly consist of a range of OMBs including fast entrepreneurial businesses, international businesses, groups, and UK based subsidiaries of foreign owned businesses. Day to day work will include preparing statutory accounts including consolidations, involvement in audits from planning stages through to completion and overseeing junior members of staff, taking an active role in their development.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint ambitious ACA / ACCA finalists or newly qualified accountants who are looking to progress their career within practice and live locally to Stockport. Your work will be weighted towards audit so you must be able to demonstrate prior experience of leading some audit assignments and the ability to work in a client facing role. Interpersonal and organisational skills are key to succeed in this role.
