Your new firm
You will be joining a well established firm of accountants based just outside Chester city centre. The firm offer a range of services to their extensive client base, inclusive of tax, accounting and bookkeeping and following a sustained period of growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Client Manager to the successful team.

Your new role
As a Client Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of a team of c staff. You will be responsible for managing workflow and delegate tasks whilst working on accounts preparation and getting involved in business advisory and tax work. As part of your managerial duties you will be required to hold regular 1 -1s and annual appraisals with the team, supporting junior team members with their development and ensuring deadlines are worked to in an efficient manner.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have had recent experience working within an accountancy practice and managing staff. You should be up to date with current UK legislation regarding tax and accounting standards and will be ACA/ ACCA qualified. This role will see you hold the relationship with clients and so good communication skills are essential.

What you'll get in return
In return this firm are able to offer a competitive salary of between £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on prior experience) plus an excellent benefits package which includes parking, a pension and an annual bonus. The role is office based however the firm are able to offer flexible working to suit. This is a great opportunity for an established manager to really take a lead and play an essential role in the future prosperity of the firm.
