Financial Controller - Manufacturing

Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to recruit a commercially focused Financial Controller in Elland on behalf of an innovative market-leading Manufacturing business.

This role will vary depending on the needs of the business. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance team and you will have duties spanning all accounts areas, along with taking responsibility for the production of various reports.

My client is keen to find a confident and personable qualified accountant with a passion for being involved in the wider business, driving the company forward, and improving the processes and systems within. As a result, they are open to considering both experienced Financial Controllers and Managers who are ambitious and are looking to take the next step in their career as long as they have the gravitas and knowledge to be involved in the commercial and operational decision making which will shape the path the business takes over the next few years.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

-Support the achievement of group financial and strategic targets
-Determining and implementing accounting policies
-Provide insight into performance issues
-Support the rollout of a new global ERP system across the group
-Manage and support the performance and development of a team
-Responsible for full group month-end close and preparation of group management accounts
-Develop cash flow forecasting model and strong cash management
-Work with subsidiary management and finance staff to identify and improve performance issues
-Manage group working capital in areas such as aged debt and cash flow forecasting
-Involvement in performance review meetings
-Manage the standard cost calculations for products manufactured
-Full responsibility for manufacturing margin calculation and allocation
-Implement the group's policies and procedures in all subsidiaries
-Assist with group annual budget process
-Ad-hoc projects as required
