Financial Accountant - hybrid/fully remote optional

Recognised as a top employer in their field my client are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. My client are very flexible in terms of where you work from, a hybrid approach has been adopted however if it suits to work full time from home this will also be considered. Your keys responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance of balance sheet and cash flow forecast model
• WIP and Revenue accounting for month and year end
• Production and control of balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaising with auditors to produce consolidated statutory accounts
• Implementing procedures to optimise year end close efficiencies
• Assistance with production and review of CT return
• Production of Group VAT returns and VAT compliance
• Capex budgets and control

Suitable candidates must have a strong financial accounting background, have the ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior management and have advanced Excel skills.
