Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a Public Sector Organisation in Edinburgh to assist them in their search for a Senior Financial Strategy Manager on a 6 month fixed term contract.
The ideal candidate will have financial experience in a public sector role. You will have worked in roles which helped shape strategic financial direction of an organisation and be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of financial modelling processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of medium and long term financial strategies across the whole organisation
- Liaise with other departments to assess their ideas on existing and future strategies
- Review and monitor various income streams to ensure prices are correctly set
- Review all other strategies to allow them to be linked to the financial strategy.
Experience/Knowledge:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant
- Experience in a Finance Business Partner role is essential
- A solid understanding of medium and long term financial strategies
- Experience of managing and developing teams is a must
- Experience in a public sector organisation is desirable
