Group Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for an experienced Group Accountant for a successful group based in Mansfield as they look to strengthen their head office operation.

Reporting straight into the Group Financial Controller, the role of Group Accountant will be extremely varied and as well as producing monthly reports and accounting information, you will be conducting related commercial analysis on business performance.

Duties will include:-

*Prepare monthly accounts for the Group entity and Holding companies, including P&L, Balance Sheet
*Consolidation of Group monthly accounts
*Produce month end reporting pack for the Senior Management Team and Board
*Cash flow forecasting (currently 3 month forecast moving to weekly)
*Quarterly Forecasts and Budgeting
*Banking and treasury
*Monthly VAT returns
*Assist with year-end statutory accounts
*Projects and other requirement to support the business

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

*Qualified ACCA /ACA
*Good interpersonal skills
*Prioritisation - a number of demands in the role with challenging deadlines
*Strong commercial experience and able to understand and challenge the numbers
*Attention to detail
*Good technical knowledge
