Part Time Finance Director

Our client is a not-for-profit based in Hertfordshire, requiring an immediately available Finance Director 3 days per week for 3-6 months whilst they recruit for a permanent FD.

Immediate requirements include:

Managing the day to day finance function

Managing a small team in finance of this sub £10M turnover business

Management of the controls & compliance function

Production of the budgets for 3 seprate entities in readiness for upcoming board meetings

Year end accounts

Pricing strategies

Strategic input for some startup organisations

Business Partner with the CEO on all aspects of the organisation

Experience Includes:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Experience within not-for-profit and/or construction industry

Proven track record of success in SME environment

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, an experienced FD / CFO / Head of Finance with a hands-on approach within an SME enivronment, and ideally in the not-for-profit sector. You will be adept at quickly getting to grips with new businesses and have the ability to work on your own initiative to get things done, and be able to produce detailed and meaningful board packs/budgets as well as experience with pricing strategies. You will also need to be immediately available.
