Halliday Marx have partnered with a large Media Organisation to recruit a Junior Management Accountant on a Permanent basis. Reporting into the Management Accountant, this role is to support and assist in the monthly management accounts preparation, revenue and cost recognition and forecasting.
Your key duties will include, but not be limited too;
- Timely completion of the companies management accountants with responsibility for revenue and cost recognition
- Responsible for maintaining accurate costs reports
- Assist with budgets and forecasts
- Responsible for preparing the accounts to Trail Balance
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Assist in the Annual Audit
- Adhoc duties as required
The Successful Candidate;
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA, SAICA)
- 12-24 months within a busy finance department
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Solid understanding of Management Accounting including Journals and Double Entry Bookkeeping
- Strong communicator and team player
