Elevation Accountancy & Finance have had a really exciting opportunity come in for a professional, organised and motivated Payroll Administrator to support the growth of a reputable and established business based in Bradford! You will only be required to work from the office one day a week.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a busy payroll and HR function to take on the responsibility of providing a comprehensive payroll service for a high volume of employees specifically relating to Time & Attendance procedures due to the nature of the business.
Reporting into the HR Business Partner, duties will include:
*To update the Time and Attendance system with starters, leavers and any contractual changes i. shift changes
*To accurately process weekly hours worked through the Time and Attendance system
*To calculate all other payments and export from the Time and Attendance system to ensure correct payments i. Holidays, Sick Pay, Step up
payments etc
*To prepare weekly reports for the Finance reporting team
*Responsible for upload of Time and Attendance exports into SAP Success Factors
*Ensure all documents are authorised prior to any salary payments made.
*First point of contact for any Time and Attendance and payroll queries physical presence made across the 2 sites
*Liaise with all other departments, internally and externally to ensure accurate salary payments are made.
*Responsible for advising on the correct HR and payroll procedures enabling accurate calculations and payments.
*Provide training on payroll process and Time and Attendance system where required.
*Manage and structure working time to allow for all payroll deadlines to be met.
*Provide support to the HR department as and when required
Person Specification:
- Proven ability in a similar commercial environment, with an in depth understanding of payroll practices
- Must have experience working with Time & Attendance procedures
- Experience of working in a fast paced Accounts Department
- Have the ability to express clearly your ideas and views and take on board the views of others, then to develop strategies in tandem and implement them
- Excellent attention to detail & knowledge of excel
- Able to work at a fast pace
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet deadlines
