Finance Assistant, Central London, Media, £28k + Study Support

A fast-growing design agency are looking for a curious, seriously organised Finance Assistant to join their team! You will be proactive and thrive in a supportive but challenging environment. Commercial acumen is a must! Reporting into the Finance Manager and Head of Commercial you will maintain the smooth, efficient and productive running of the agency financial processes.

About the role:

• • Processing, tracking and monitoring of client purchase orders and invoicing
• • Monitoring and reporting of the ‘forecast and invoicing’ targets
• • Attending the weekly billings meeting with the client service team
• • Managing credit control and the issuance of client statements
• • Preparing and sending the weekly finance update to the senior team
• • Processing, tracking and monitoring agency, client services and studio expenditure
• • Ensuring all paperwork is audit compliant
• • Collating and processing credit card expenditure
• • Monitoring and reconciling petty cash
• • Ensuring all expenditure is input and allocated correctly within our project management system and Sage
• • Posting expense accruals and prepayments
• • Recording income accruals and deferrals
• • Maintaining the accuracy of the fixed asset register
• • Conducting intercompany, balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• • Reviewing and maintaining the P&L
• • Posting all journals
• • Preparing management accounts
