A Private Equity backed media company are recruiting for an interim Group Financial Controller on a full-time basis. An initial 12-months contract, this is a great role working closely with the CFO, advising on issues that affect the management of the group in relation to Merger & Acquisition activity.
As the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a finance team of permanent staff
- Managing preparation of statutory accounts
- Making sure the Group's accounting is in line with UKGAAP, current accounting standards
- Consolidation of the company's budgets and forecasts
- Managing treasury
- Advising on accounting implications
The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified or equivalent. You will have prior experience working within Media, managing a team and working for a PE backed company.
