No1 on site Finance Manager role for a successful business in Wrexham.
Hays Senior Finance have been appointed by a national business who have several sites across the UK. This business has grown hugely in the last 10 years and now has a turnover in excess of £400m and EBITDA of £60m+. The business has modern facilities and a mixed client base including long-term contract work.
Due to an internal promotion the business is looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance function at one of the key locations in Wrexham. This position will be a key member of the site leadership team and control the P&L and Balance Sheet for this site and legal entity. There are numerous sites across the UK and each site reports it's own figures to the UK based central finance function.
We are looking for experienced accountants who can operate in a stand alone capacity and show proven skills in producing management and financial accounts. This is a broad role and experience in owning a Balance Sheet and analysing a P&L is important. This is a truly rounded role and interested candidates should be comfortable with management reporting, analysis, cashflow management, treasury, year end accounting with auditors, inter-company work etc. We are ideally looking for qualified candidates with experience in manufacturing, FMCG, engineering or waste management - something with a tangible product and process.
