Finance Manager, Systems & Data

Our client, a prestigious and well-regarded financial services firm is seeking to appoint a Systems & Data Finance Manager to oversee the data management, integration and enhancement of key financial systems and processes. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a growing Systems & Data team within the Finance function of a financial service firm that is well positioned for future growth. The role will involve hybrid working with office based in the Northwest.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Systems with responsibility for a small team, the role will be accountable for identifying and managing system enhancements and related process improvements. You will be responsible for finance system upgrades and new technology initiatives, ensuring new technologies are fully integrated and in line with the change agenda for the business.

The successful candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience of managing systems enhancement and data within the finance function. Line management experience is desirable, as well as familiarity with a wide range of finance systems (SAP, SUN, Oracle, Sage, Cognos etc) and testing. You should also be a willing and collaborative team player, ambitious and driven, with excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude.
