Accountancy Recruit is partnering a large service business in Cheshire to appoint an Assistant Accountant. The role would suit an Assistant Accountant currently studying the Operational or Management level of CIMA or equivalent in ACCA. The Assistant Accountant will have the following responsibilities:
- Support the Management Accountant with the month end process.
- Produce control accounts and associated analysis and commentary.
- Support Finance Business Partners with analysis of specific contracts, looking at profitability and highlighting any areas for improvement.
- Assisting Management Accountants with ad hoc reporting as required.
To be successful in this role the Assistant Accountant will have the following experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Actively studying CIMA or ACCA.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent Excel and systems experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner non finance colleagues.
The salary advertised for this role is a guideline and the salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
