Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting a B2C Credit Controller on behalf of a well-established and growing business in Media City. The business have experienced fast growth and are looking to add a new position to the finance team, making it an exciting time to join a business with a fantastic culture and working environment.
The role will cover all aspects of Credit Control in a B2C environment, reporting into the Management Accountant. You will be aiming to increase revenue by liaising with customers regarding their upcoming bookings.

The role will cover all aspects of Credit Control in a B2C environment, reporting into the Management Accountant. You will be aiming to increase revenue by liaising with customers regarding their upcoming bookings.
Duties
- Proactively calling customers who have bookings with the company, prior to their due date to collect payment
- Taking payment or arranging for payment to be made
- Amend or move bookings to a later date where necessary
- Cancel bookings where payment cannot be facilitated
- Aim to increase success in fulfilling pre-booked sessions, in turn increasing revenue for the business
- Advise customers on company policy
- General account administration
- Report to Management Accountant and keep them informed where necessary
- General ad-hoc duties to assist and cover the finance team and the wider business.
- Previous experience in a Credit Control or Customer Service role in a B2C environment
- A keen interest in gaining experience in Accounting
- Strong customer service skills, being helpful, positive and proactive at all times
- Keen to help and make suggestions to ensure no loss of revenue
- Good IT skills, especially MS Excel and Outlook
- Able to prioritise workload and demonstrate flexibility toward deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be tenacious and assertive without being aggressive with the ability to build relationships with clients
- Confident and independent with a down to earth can-do approach
