Job Title: Audit & Accounts Senior Client Manager

Job Type: Full time & Permanent

Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE)

Roles and Responsbilities:

  • Managing your own client portfolio with a mix of some larger audit clients and mostly SME clients with a turnover mean of circa £5m
  • Liaising directly with clients to provide end to end service delivery on time and managing the client relationship in a professional and friendly manner
  • Identifying and referring complex accounts and tax matters to the specialist technical directors as required.
  • Supervising more junior members of staff as appropriate, including checking their work and providing guidance as required
  • Managing own time and that of any junior staff, recognising any problems at an early stage to ensure that jobs are completed within budget.
  • Completing sets of accounts to a high quality with supporting schedules, working from source documents/records to final accounts for review by the appropriate Director.

Skills Required:

  • Have substantial recent Audit experience.
  • ACCA or ACA qualified/part-qualified with at least 3 years practice experience OR
  • Qualified By Experience with at least 5 years practice experience and other relevant accounting qualification.
  • Have a working knowledge of Digita, or at least another similar accounting software (training will be provided if needed)
  • Have a general working knowledge of client bookkeeping software systems such as FreeAgent, Xero, or similar and in particular Sage.
  • Strong communication skills and able to work in team, as well as independently manage own time and workload
