Axon Moore are delighted to be working in partnership with a professional services firm who are looking to bring a new Financial Controller on board. The position will provide essential support to the ongoing development of the finance function, offer exposure to commercial growth, and mentorship from an ACA Qualified senior leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role will encompass responsibilities across group level, supporting regional finance when required. This position will also provide the successful applicant the opportunity to partner alongside divisional directors throughout various support functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to the achievement of the Group's business objectives.
• Review the Group consolidated accounts and prepare the Board reporting pack and ensure they are presented accurately.
• Develop and maintain financial systems in line with the Systems team to implement best practice and efficiencies.
• Manage external relationship with key advisors to ensure effective operations and best value.
• Manage the Group audit process and preparation of financial statements.
• Management of policies such as pricing and tax.
• Support the Head of Finance relating to new international companies and management of Group structure.
• Support the commercial finance team with the preparation of quarterly and annual forecasts.
Person specification
• ACA/ CIMA or ACCA Qualified with necessary industry experience.
• An in-depth technical knowledge, ideally working in an international environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with proven experience running a team of various levels.
• Autonomous worker, managing your own workload with a high degree of responsibility.
