Working for an established and growing SME, this is a fantastic broad opportunity for an ambitious accountant seeking a fresh career challenge. Reporting into the MD and working closely with the exec team.Key Responsibilities include:-
- Preparation of weekly MI and management accounts in accordance with deadlines. Setting, managing, and monitoring compliance and streamlining processes (including making best use of systems and reducing manual processes)
- Development of monthly consolidated management accounts suite including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow
- Decision support, analysis and modelling as required
- Support and participate in the monthly SMT Finance Review meeting processes
- Manage the annual budget process
- Support financial integration of acquisitions and strategic projects
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts and simple corporation tax computations
- Manage monthly, quarterly VAT/PAYE/CIS and other similar tax return routines
The ideal candidate:-
