Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful PE backed business in Doncaster to recruit a Group Financial Reporting Manager.
Reporting to the Deputy Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the management and control of the Corporate Reporting and Accounting compliance activities of the Group, including external statutory and bond reporting obligations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage the production of the statutory accounts for the Group
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and latest reporting requirements
- Manage and produce the full Group statutory consolidations
- Support all periodic and ad hoc bond and credit rating reporting requirements including preparation of quarterly quarterly interim consolidated financial statements, covenant reporting and associated investor presentations
- Working with the Group Finance team towards Plc readiness in the quality of the Groups annual report and other reporting outputs, including development of the associated systems and processes
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness through the quarterly and annual reporting processes
- Provide accounting technical support to the business on proposed ventures and impact assessments of new financial reporting pronouncements
- Support ad hoc large projects undertaken by the business
- Financial modelling; to facilitate the production of business plans and reporting for Group corporate consolidation, technical accounting matters and corporate entities
- Completion of other ad hoc reporting requirements such as the private equity reporting annual report
- Lead on the adoption of new accounting standards
- Supporting with continuing of development of finance systems
- Line management of Group Financial Accountant
The business has experienced considerable growth in recent years, and this is set to continue. This is a newly created role that will suit an ACA, CA or ACCA qualified Accountant, ideally with experience within Big 4. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, and will be ambitious and keen to progress.
