Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of a very well established and growing business based in Middleton, North Manchester. My client is seeking a Finance Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis.
The role will incorporate a range of admin duties, sitting within the finance team and reporting to a team leader. One of the finance team’s key roles is processing customer payments and checking all the documentation is correct before we release payment. If there is documentation missing, the transaction will be put “on hold”, with this role involving the review of the “on hold” transactions and trying to resolve them to ensure the customer still gets paid on time and receives the service that they expect from a quality brand.

Duties
- Customer payment checks involving the following:
- Chasing for finance settlement agreements and clearance letters with the finance companies
- Chasing the vehicle purchaser to obtain the correct documentation from the customer
- Reviewing and ensuring all the correct documentation is present within the deal before authorising the payment
- Making recommendations to senior management on how to resolve the issues if all avenues have been explored
- Support the wider finance team with any ad-hoc duties
- Previous experience within an Accounts or Administration position
- Fully competent with MS Word, Excel and accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a focused manner, always remaining polite and professional
- Excellent work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience working to deadlines
